Our notes: Vintage champagne is different each year and champagne Jean Dumangin have produced some outstanding vintages in the time we have known the family. 2013, 2014 and 2015 are all award winners - perfect for drinking now and will also continue to improve for the next 5+ years. We also have limited stocks of 2012 magnums - these will (if stored correctly) keep improving for the next decade. Both 2012 and 2013 are fabulous to drink now on that special occasion.
Laurent’s notes: (translated!) At first the nose reveals ripeness with notes of jammy yellow fruits and acacia, it then opens on delicate aromas of flint and cardamom. On the palate the attack is full and greedy with white chalk and grapefruit zest, with a delicate structure and a finish dominated by granny Smith apple.
